Hello! My name is Heidi Hrbek, and I'm from Bloomington, Minnesota. My parents first bought me a camera when I was young, and ever since then I’ve been captivated by the power of photography to tell stories, capture emotion, and preserve life’s most meaningful moments.
I attended Concordia University and earned my degree in Community Arts in 2015. Shortly after, I was fortunate to complete two internships with the Minnesota Twins, one in Photography and another in Digital Media, which deepened my passion for visual storytelling, sports, and event photography. Building on those experiences, I continued my education at Black Hills State University from 2017 to 2019, where I earned my B.F.A. in Photography.
My work has been featured in two art galleries, including Artistry MN in Bloomington, Minnesota, and the Dahl Arts Center in Rapid City, South Dakota. It has also been published in Photographer’s Forum and shared on Target Field Events’ social media platforms.
Today, I’m proud to work as an Event Photographer for Target Field Events, a role I began in the spring of 2025. My goal with photography is to share positivity, light, and beauty in every image I capture, whether it’s a quiet landscape, a joyful candid, or a meaningful portrait. I strive to reflect the heart and energy of each moment through my lens.
